Radiologik is a set of two programs that seeks to address the specific needs of radio broadcasting in an accessible and focused way.
Developed first for LPFMs, online streaming radio stations, and school radio stations, it should grow to further sophistication over time.
With months of continuous service testing, the DJ and the scheduler allow you to have a no worries reliable fully-automated station today.

1. Radiologik DJ- 2 program queue players, 1 independent/voiceover player, and 1 library player
- Automatic triple-segue using 3rd player
- Audio outputs selectable with user labels and quick switching
- Players overlap for proper cold starts and stops (no cross-fade)
- Custom start/stop, fade-in, fade-out, and overlap per track
- Live searching in library like iTunes
- Very fast iTunes Library importing
- Plays MP3, AAC, ITMS protected AAC, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV
- Interrupt events for any second of the day
- Publishes artists and titles for Nicecast and iChat per audio output w/exceptions list
- Imports from iTunes playlists, accepts drags from iTunes, and drags from the Finder
- Registers songs played with iTunes, adjusting the last played and play count fields
- Includes a talk time counter for helping DJs know how long to talk into introducing a song.
- Uses iVolume's values (purchase iVolume separately) for equal loudness
2. Radiologik SchedulerUses iTunes as its database utilizing playlists and particularly smart playlists for song selection with its own top logic using a weekly schedule.
Radiologik Scheduler Basic is free. It supports picks and fills from iTunes playlists with time instructions, artist separation, unique track checking, and best fit exact time searching for top of the hour placement for station IDs or other arbitrary times.
Radiologik Scheduler Advanced further supports voiceover intros and outros for specific tracks or artists, date matching, and time announcements and will sell separately once testing is done. It is always available to download and try. Radiologik DJ

You can use the scheduler to run a 24/7 automated terrestrial or internet station. Basic and Advanced features are the same download. Hold the option key at launch to switch between Basic and Advanced. |
Radiologik user, Lane, started a Radiologik Users Forum. I will stop by that forum once in a while but support requests should be sent to me by email as I may not get there frequently.
Radiologik is used to run some of music formats on WFEL 99.9 FM in Antioch, IL. Both of the following segments are now using voiceovers, date matching, time announcements and exact time fitting.
